I’ve streamlined my print!subscription updates with my new studio blog, Kimball Prints. Please stop by and see the rest of the year’s prints!

May's Print!EATS "La Pina' pineapple woodcut was inspired by all the delicious pineapple I ate on my honeymoon!

PRINTkids March ‘Purple Martins’

Spring means the return of Purple Martins! I love all the mod purple martin tree houses that dot the city.

PRINTkids February ‘Lily pad’

Ribbit. Strange as it may seem, February is the start of spring in central Texas. It’s the time of year that I start noticing all the little signs of life that vanish over the winter, like frogs and bugs.

PRINTkids January ‘A long winter’s nap’

This polar bear has the right idea, nap until spring!

PRINTeats March ‘Las fresas’

We’ve been getting lots of fresh strawberries lately, and I can’t ever eat enough! They remind me of childhood trips to farm outside outside Louisville, where we’d wander through the strawberry fields picking berries almost as fast as we could eat them.

PRINTeats January ‘Avocado’

PRINTeats is largely inspired by the delicious seasonal produce I get in my CSA bushel from Farmhouse Delivery.  This week brought us some of the most delicious, creamy avocados I’ve ever tasted!

This year’s PRINTstudio is part of a larger series I’m working on of landscapes of the Middle East.  The PRINTstudio etchings will tile together and the four images will combine into one large landscape. This first panel is of a blooming almond tree.
